Sperling from DTS shows us the MasterImage 3D system. This system uses polarising filters by using a spinning wheel in front of the DCI projector lens.  It can be moved from projector to projector.  It requires a silver screen like all Polarising 3D system.  It also  makes use of the inexpensive/disposable 3D glasses.

    Two small corrections:
Sperling describes the Dolby 3D glasses as being polarised, which they are not. The Dolby 3D glasses contain very narrow spectral filters (using interference filter technology from German company Infitec).
Sperling also describes the Masterimage system as using a color-wheel. It is a wheel, but it doesn’t contain colour filters – it contains circular polarising filters (as mentioned in the introduction).
