With the standards around SDI-Over-Ethernet surfacing at SMPTE, the use of high speed Ethernet adapters for SDI and typical media workflows is becoming a major topic. In this video I talk with Suda from Mellanox (www.mellanox.com) about there new range of 40/52 GBe ethernet cards. With 10GBe, it was not considered Ethernet could not answer the new 12G-SDI requirements. However, with 52GBe Ethernet cards, thats wel in hand.
