As part of the End Of Film (EOF) series of videos, today I talk about the IMS or Integrated Media Server.
This is the system that stores and plays back the DCP (Digital Cinema Packages) to the projector. Its reduction in size and hardware plus the integration into the projector security cage means potential savings to the exhibitor. (Ie large projector cost savings)
These developments can effect the price of a DCI-system. In this video I discuss the changes and how they effect the exhibition industry.
