At every show I see Immersive audio come closer and closer to a universal standard. In this video I discuss how Avid Pro-Tools are integrating the 3D immersive tool set directly into Pro-Tools just like the 5.1/7.1 pan tool is now. This is a step in the right direction for Immersive audio not just for Atmos, but likely for the SMPTE standard also in the pipe.
